Photo-Advertising channels require the advanced graphic capabilities of the ELITEGOLD or the ELITE2000. Additional features useful for Cable Television applications include the Audio Ducker (ducking volume of a background feed for voice overs) and Optional Weather Stations (for displaying local weather information).
Public Service Announcements
Public Service Announcements or PSA channels usually do not require the graphics capabilities of the ELITE2000 or the ELITEGOLD. The TextPro Sr. character generator is often used for PSA channels due to its advanced scheduling features (such as Start/Expiry times to automatically begin and end the display of certain pages) and the ability to use an Optional Weather Station.
